Aksel Holmsen was one of the master craftsmen in Norway who did superb enameling. This small brooch is an example of his work. It is from the 1950s. He established his shop in 1932 and produced beautiful work. The brooch would be perfect for autumn. It is only about an inch and a half and would quietly add a little bit of autumn’s gold touch.
